Domain TransferDomain Transfer ![]() USING YOUR EXISTING DOMAIN NAME If you only wish to order Hosting ("Hosting Only") and keep your "Domain name" with your current provider enter your domain name in the box labelled "Enter a domain name whose DNS records you will be maintaining with another provider" Please note; Obviously this does limit what we can offer our customers with respect to control of those domains, but you can still host them with us. carry on with the process by pressing "continue", NOTE: If you keep your domain name where it is and wish to take full advantage of all features in our Hosting environment, please change your "nameservers" to our parent company Ezdesigns. The nameservers are: ns1.ezdesigns.net ns2.ezdesigns.net DOMAIN NAME TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS: IMPORTANT: You must be the registered "OWNER" of the domain name or acting on the owners behalf to transfer ANY domain name. Transferring your .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info domain to ezdesigns.net * The "ADMIN CONTACT" of the domain must be able to reply to e-mails and the domain must NOT be "locked" ( must be in an "unlocked" status): If the transfer fails due to no reply from the "admin contact" in the "whois database" we will let you know so this can be rectified. (Once you have confirmed this to us we will restart the transfer) **IMPORTANT: Please note that .com, .net, .info, and .biz domain names cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or 60 days of expiry. (ICANN rules). Once confirmed it will take approx 24 HOURS to become active if you are transferring from 123-reg or UKREG. With other providers it may take up to seven days. You may also receive a email from your current registrar, if you do you should read this very carefully as it may contain instructions for you to authorise the transfer away from the to us. IMPORTANT: You must let us know by email when the above** has been "checked and ready" so we can initiate the transfer process and bring in the domain (this is so failed transfer request delays can be avoided). Please note we reserve the right to make a charge for transferring any domain from us to any other hosting provider Please note transfers can take 48-72 hours ***If you don't wish to transfer at this time (see above "using your existing domain name"), then you can just point to our "nameservers" for hosting with us - which are ns1.ezdesigns.net ns2.ezdesigns.net NOMINET TAG Every .uk domain name (.co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk etc) has a tag this allows Nominet, the UK naming authority to know who's looking after which domain name. If you have your own IPSTAG or wish to leave a domain on another IPSTAG, you are still able to use it with our hosting accounts by changing the nameservers externally to ours and creating a domain reference, however this means that our control panel will not be able to make changes for contacts and nameservers for you. If you wish to transfer you will need to contact us by email for further instructions and to obtain the domain reference required to enable the process.

Please note that because of the automatic nature of domain registrations, they must be paid for at the point of order, and they can not be cancelled once registered. Domain MappingDomain Mapping is an extra add-on feature you can order for additional domains that point multiple domains to your primary hosting account. But I hear you asking… Why do I need domain mapping? Why bother, I can already re-direct domains using the tool in the domain control panel!
